Acutronic is looking for a Proposal Engineer to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA. In this role, you will be responsible for developing proposal packages for custom Inertial Guidance Test Systems (IGTS), Hardware in the Loop (HWIL), and related services for Acutronic Simulation & Test USA.

Proposal Engineer

Your Roles/Responsibilities:

Generates cost back-up sheets utilizing labor and material inputs from engineering, manufacturing, customer service, project management, and supply chain team members.

Solicits input from above-mentioned departments to ensure complete and accurate proposal packages

Documents proposal requirements including technical and programmatic specifications

Verifies that all documentation is up to date (content and revision) and in compliance with the Acutronic Quality System so that all departments are reviewing the latest proposal package

Analyzes customer requirements to ensure compliance

Applies knowledge of government and industry regulations and standards to ensure compliance

Presents resulting proposal package to department team leaders, including sales leadership for approval prior to submission to the customer by the responsible sales engineer/business development lead

Your Profile/Qualifications/Skills:

Associate’s degree in Engineering or a related field required, Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field preferred

Experience in the field of servo systems and/or motion control is a plus
