Overview

The Administrative Support III - Greenwood Wastewater plant will provide administrative support to department staff, create and maintain departmental correspondence. They will assist with Payroll edits, memberships, purchase orders, process invoices and submit requests for purchase orders, track contract expenditures, assist with ordering uniforms for staff and assist the Plant Superintendent with all administrative functions.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to department staff

• Create and maintain interdepartmental correspondence

• Provide customer service to internal and external customers, assist in the preparation of regulatory reports and correspondence, assist in the processing of travel requests, payroll edits, memberships, and purchase orders

• Process invoices and submits requests for purchase orders

• Assist with ordering uniforms for staff

• May be asked to perform other duties as assigned

Position Type and Typical Hours of Work

• Non exempt - Full-Time

• Non rotating 40-hour work week, Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, with a 30-minute lunch break. Must be available to work additional hours as needed

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate's Degree (AA/ AS) or two (2) year technical certificate

• Two (2) years of experience

Licenses and Certifications

Required

• A valid driver's license is required; successful out-of-state candidates must be able to obtain a valid Texas driver's license within 90 days of hire

Basis of Rating

A recruitment consultant will evaluate all applications against the posted qualifications. The city may also conduct additional skill assessment tests, in addition to the panel interview.
