Position Summary:
As a Strategy & Operations MBA Intern, you will be responsible for creating, running, and refining processes that advance the many initiatives of OceanX. You will have the opportunity to interact directly with leaders of the enterprise as you work on various strategic, operational, and analytic finance projects.
This is an 8-10 week program, working approximately 40 hours per week. This opportunity operates in a hybrid work schedule in our NYC office to allow for in-person meetings/collaboration.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Help drive projects focused on operational efficiency and effectiveness including developing the project plans, budgets and reporting out on progress
Help with summer projects and project sponsors/owners communicating key decisions, status updates, highlighting key risks and problems, and escalating effectively
Create and drive enterprise and business unit dashboards, data analytics and ad-hoc reporting
Build financial reports and models to support strategic financial decisions
Support ad hoc financial analyses and financial systems and tooling as needed Qualifications:
Professional Experience:
Currently enrolled in an MBA program or recently graduated (Class of 2025)
2+ years of FP&A, investment banking, corporate finance, management consulting, or similar function
Experience in reporting & analytics processes
Advanced excel skills and modeling experience
Strong project management capabilities
Experience handling sensitive or confidential financial data
Experience with Jira, Smartsheet, Notion, Monday.com and/or similar platforms is a plus Personal Attributes:

Compensation:
Compensation for the role consists of a $35/hour wage. This position is not eligible for health or financial benefits packages.
