Entry-Level Production Worker

Starting rate: $19.00/hr, paid weekly

Hours: 2:30pm- 11:00pm, or 3rd shift 10:30pm- 6:30am M-F

Location: Northampton, MA

Duration: 3 months with long-term opportunity

Summary:

Work Safely

The operator will oversee and assist production of product from raw materials through to final quality control

The operator will produce a variety of rod types based on production schedule set forth by production coordinator Requires efficiently balancing mixing, extrusion, drying, cutting, and firing steps to maximize overall production and meet customer order requirements

Operate a forklift to move pallets of raw materials, totes filled with powder, etc

Will need to operate equipment at elevated heights occasionally (ladders/platforms)

Pack finished goods to be shipped as needed

Load/unload trucks as needed

Maintain work areas and equipment

Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

GED/High School Diploma preferred

Manufacturing Experience a plus

Team player

Strong attention to details

Standing, reaching, bending, pushing etc.

Must be able to lift 50 lbs unassisted
