Sr. Director of FP&A

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Director of FP&A to join our Finance team. This role is pivotal in driving the financial rigor, scalability, and strategic initiatives of the company. The ideal candidate is a hands-on finance leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited to build and improve processes across FP&A, Deal Desk, and accounting partnerships, while also engaging directly on high-impact strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
FP&A Leadership and Execution
Own all aspects of financial modeling, forecasting, and long-range planning for the company
Lead the annual budgeting process and provide detailed tracking against budgets, forecasts, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Develop and maintain departmental reporting, dashboards, and insights to support executive and departmental decision-making
Partner closely with business leaders to provide actionable insights and financial guidance Deal Desk & Sales Finance
Build and establish the foundational processes for a scalable Deal Desk function
Collaborate with SLT, Sales, CS and Operations, and Finance teams to review and approve commercial contracts, ensuring alignment with pricing, discounting, and business policies
Develop approval workflows, deal review frameworks, and compliance checks to enable efficient, risk-mitigated deal execution
Drive ongoing improvements to streamline deal review processes and optimize sales velocity Accounting Partnership & Process Improvement
Work closely with the Accounting team to ensure a smooth and efficient month-end close process
Align FP&A processes with actuals, reconciliations, and financial reporting to ensure accuracy and consistency
Identify and implement process improvements across FP&A and Accounting to enhance reporting timelines and data quality Strategic Initiatives
Support the CFO on strategic projects, including M&A evaluations, investor and board reporting, and capital structure analysis
Develop and maintain investor and equity models, as well as scenario analyses to support corporate decision-making
Provide analytical support for new business opportunities, product initiatives, and other cross-functional projects Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA is a plus
7-10+ years of experience in FP&A, finance, or related functions, ideally with experience in a high-growth or SaaS/tech environment
Prior experience building or working with a Deal Desk function strongly preferred
Strong understanding of GAAP accounting and the interplay between FP&A and Accounting functions
Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner cross-functionally and influence at all levels
Highly analytical and detail-oriented, with a passion for building scalable processes and delivering actionable insights
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment and balancing multiple priorities
