Electrical Substation Lead

Award-winning engineering & construction firm is seeking an electrical substation engineer to join it's growing team.

Oversee and guide engineering teams. Mentor junior staff.

Design substation systems, including protection, control, and physical layouts.

Ensure quality and compliance in substation designs.

Develop equipment specifications and assist clients during construction.

Conduct field inspections and prepare reports.

Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.

Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.

Lead proposals, contracts, and strategic initiatives.

Maintain clear communication and ensure project success.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.

Minimum 5 years of experience in transmission and distribution engineering/design (preferably 7+ years with leadership experience).

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Experience managing projects and teams effectively.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

PE or PMP certification is a plus.
