Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Supervisor to oversee our maintenance operations. This role involves managing all maintenance activities, supervising a skilled team of technicians, developing and implementing maintenance plans, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with various departments to align maintenance efforts with operational goals.

Responsibilities

Oversee all maintenance activities, including repairs, preventative maintenance, and capital projects.

Lead, train, and evaluate maintenance technicians to foster a high-performing team.

Develop and execute preventative maintenance programs and capital improvement plans.

Maintain compliance with food safety regulations (e.g., FDA, GMP) and safety regulations (e.g., OSHA).

Identify and address equipment issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Manage the maintenance budget and inventory of spare parts and tools.

Collaborate with production, engineering, quality, and other departments.

Identify opportunities for improvement in maintenance processes and equipment performance.Essential Skills

Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical trades in a manufacturing setting.

Ability to diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues.

Leadership and management skills to lead and motivate a team.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Organizational and planning skills to prioritize tasks and manage projects.

Understanding of food processing equipment and GMPs.Additional Skills & Qualifications

5 years of industrial maintenance experience.

Knowledge in drive component and bearing nomenclature and selection.

Skills in installation of bearings, sheaves, sprockets, gearboxes, chains, belts, and motors.

Basic welding and fabrication skills preferred.

Basic computer skills.

Ability to read manufacturers' documentation and parts schematics..

Ability to change air cylinders and pistons.Why Work Here?

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
