Logistics Specialist

Job Description

LHH is seeking a Logistics Analyst for a dynamic and growing construction company in Marietta, GA. This role is responsible for managing capital equipment logistics, analyzing order-to-cash processes, and ensuring seamless coordination between internal teams, customers, and dealers. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to improving logistics workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and analyze capital equipment orders from initiation through final invoicing.

Coordinate delivery logistics and ensure all documentation is accurate and complete.

Maintain and update the Equipment Sales Database and Weekly Equipment Delivery Tracker.

Distribute equipment manuals and documentation for both sales and rentals.

Ensure timely processing of invoices (within 48 hours of notification) and handle sales/rental credits per company policy.

Provide documentation to financing partners or third parties when equipment is financed.

Collaborate with Business Line Managers, Sales Representatives, and the Service Department to support operational needs.

Ensure compliance with safety policies and relevant industry regulations.

Experience & Skills:

3–5 years of experience in logistics, order-to-cash, or supply chain operations.

Industry experience in construction, mining, or capital equipment is preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint); SAP or job cost system experience is a plus.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Ability to interpret business, contract, and legal documents.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Effective communicator with both internal and external stakeholders.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Strong time management and results-oriented mindset.

Team player with a collaborative approach.

Pay Details: $26.00 to $28.00 per hour
