As a System of Systems Software Architect on our team, you’ll have the chance to shape the future of the Ground System for Space Based Missile Warning. Your customer will trust you to not only design, develop, and integrate multiple systems and architect the data to support it, but also evolve them with advanced technology solutions. You will utilize a strong background in System of Systems software development and architecture with on-premise data center, and government cloud experience. You Have:

10+ years of experience in software architecture, Agile system development and design, or systems integration for on-premise or hybrid cloud environments, including designing and implementing complex software systems

3+ years of experience with cloud computing platforms

3+ years of experience defining and implementing the DoD DevSecOps Reference Design

Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code and its principles, and containerization, including Docker or Kubernetes

Experience with Python, SQL, Java, and data modeling languages

Experience with Apache Spark, Kafka, and ETL frameworks

Knowledge of software design principles, architecture patterns, Agile software development practices, cloud-native architectures, containerization technologies, and distributed systems

Ability to brief senior-level military, drive consensus across government teams, and direct and facilitate cross-organizational highly technical architectural considerations, technical issues, schedule risks, and limitations

Secret clearance

Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics field

Nice If You Have:

Knowledge of digital engineering and model-based systems engineering

Knowledge of Missile Warning and Ground Systems

Knowledge of developing data-flow models, object models, and business process models in BPMN from analysis of existing software

Knowledge of artificial intelligence and machine learning theories and applications

Knowledge of DoD Software Acquisition Pathway

TS/SCI clearance

Master’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics field

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
