Sunbelt Staffing is partnering with a leading nationwide home health agency to hire a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients in their homes throughout the Chesapeake, VA area.

Location: Chesapeake, VA
Position Type: Full-time, 13-week contract
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (with occasional weekends and on-call duty typically once per month)
Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401k available after 90 days of employment, weekly pay
Mileage: .48c mileage reimbursement visit to visit, 150-250 miles per week expected
Productivity: 25-32per week, up to 35 patients
Requirements:
Active Virginia Registered Nurse (RN)license
Active American Red Cross or American Heart Association BLS certification
Minimum of 1 year of home health experience required
Proficiency in OASIS and Homecare Homebase software required
Job Duties:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
Provide skilled nursing care, including wound care, medication management, IV therapy, and patient education, based on established protocols and physician orders
Perform regular patient visits to monitor health status, assess progress, and address any changes or concerns
Coordinate with other healthcare professionals, including therapists, social workers, and physicians, to ensure coordinated and holistic care for patients
Document all patient interactions, assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely in electronic health records
Educate patients and their families on disease management, medication administration, self-care techniques, and safety precautions
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, agency policies, and best practices in home health care
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and in-service training sessions to enhance clinical skills and knowledge Location Details:Located in the heart of coastal Virginia, Chesapeake offers a perfect blend of suburban charm and natural beauty.
