Job Title: Machinist1st shift - $28-$34/HRJob Description
We are seeking a skilled set-up level mill machinist to operate low production aerospace pieces in an ISO 9001 certified shop. This role involves setting up machines for the first part, with no programming required. The average cycle time ranges from 7 to 18 minutes, with 70% of the parts taking 20 minutes or less. You will handle job sizes averaging 50 pieces, ranging from 20 to 150 pieces. The machinist will run multiple machines, including Doosan, Mazak, and older Matsurra models, and will utilize inspection equipment such as surface indicators and height stands to work with threaded parts.
Responsibilities
Set up machines for first part production without programming.
Run multiple machines such as Doosan, Mazak, and Matsurra.
Utilize inspection equipment including surface indicators and height stands.
Work with threaded parts ensuring accurate production.
Read programs and use gutter comps and boring bars.
Understand surface finishes and threading.

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $31.00/hr.
