Job Description
Shift: ($0.50 shift differential)
2nd: 2pm - 10pm
3rd: 10pm - 6am
Pay Range: $25-$35/hr DOE
Key Responsibilities:
• Safety first mindset. Ensure all safety features, such as drop bars and switches, are functioning.
• Maximize uptime on all machine centers with the objective of reducing and eliminating downtime.
• Set molds, start up, and troubleshoot the injection molding process.
• Document all process parameters on documents to the Master Setup Sheets.
• Ensure all process parameters and mold protection settings meet process specifications.
• Make necessary adjustments to prevent part defects.
• Respond to all Quality and Operator issues regarding parts and processes.
• Maintain and improve manufacturing efficiencies.
• Drive reduction of scrap through the elimination of mold conditions using corrective action and mold maintenance forms.
• Maintain a neat and clean environment at all times.
• Identify maintenance concerns/issues and assist with resolution.
• Participate in mold change activities to reduce downtime and increase uptime and throughput.
Requirements:
• 3-5 years experience in troubleshooting injection molding preferred.
• Must be experienced in mold setups and troubleshooting.
• Experience in thermoplastic injection molding is required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be willing to stay current with technology through continuous education.
• Working knowledge of plant machinery, electronics, hydraulics, and pneumatic preferred.
