Job Description

**Automotive Painter - 4 Day Work Week - Start ASAP!**

Pay: $20-$28/hour

Hours: Monday-Thursday, Various Shifts Available

Our company is looking for a skilled and motivated automotive painter! The automotive painter is responsible for completing the paint preparation and painting of fire trucks. Individuals must be capable of wearing a respirator as needed to perform job duties.

Responsibilities:

Grind welds and other areas of the vehicle to prepare for painting.

Sand vehicles to prepare for painting.

Perform buffing on basic items such as smart access and smaller items.

Complete final and advanced buffing as needed.

Complete taping and masking for body work and painting.

Caulk the exterior and interior areas of the vehicle to prepare for painting.

Use body filler and prepare area for painting.

Use paint equipment to apply primer coat of paint.

Paint wheels.

Apply finished painting on swinging doors, bodies, and smart access components.

Maintain and clean paint equipment.

Operate stationary and overhead cranes as needed.

Operate all equipment and tools as needed.

Perform other general labor duties as assigned.

Skills:

Proficiency in painting and industrial painting.

Experience in paint preparation and using hand tools.

Auto body paint expertise.

Ability to operate a paint booth and use a spray gun.APPLY-APPLY-APPLY

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $47840.00/yr.
