Job Title: Meat Cutter & Packer

Location: Commerce, CA

Schedule:

Morning Shift: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM

Afternoon Shift: 12:30 PM – 8:30 PM

(Currently 32 hours/week; hours will increase during peak season)

Job Summary:

We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Meat Cutters & Packers. This role involves deboning poultry, cutting and processing meat, and packaging products according to company standards. This is a physically demanding role in a fast-paced environment and is ideal for someone looking for long-term employment with growth potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Debone, cut, trim, and process poultry and other meats

Accurately weigh, label, and package meat products

Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with food safety standards

Follow company procedures for sanitation, hygiene, and workplace safety

Work efficiently to meet production goals

Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Previous experience in meat cutting, processing, or a similar role is preferred but not required

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Comfortable working in cold environments (refrigerated areas)

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to food safety

Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions and safety protocols

Slip-resistant shoes are required

Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and pass a background check if required
