Established, Single-Shop General Contractor with a focus in local multifamily and mixed-use projects across the South Bay and Peninsula Area now hiring for an upcoming K-12 modernization project in Antioch!

Salary: $60 - $75 per hour

Job Details

Responsibilities:

Assist Superintendent with Managing the field and project team successfully and collaboratively.

Assist in managing the field and project team successfully and collaboratively.

Establish and maintain positive and effective relationships and communication with client, Construction Manager, project team, consultants/architect/engineers, subcontractors, adjacent community, trade unions, governmental agencies.

Assist with setting up job site logistics, field coordination, and project schedule.

Participate in the review all project documents for constructability and content, including shop drawings.

Maintain and update project records including RFI’s, ASI’s and as-builts.

Assist with creating and enforcing a site-specific emergency action plan for assigned projects in collaboration with the Project Manager.

Coordinate subcontractors.

Coordinate with building inspections, subcontractor inspections, and agencies

Qualifications:

High School Diploma (any additional experience a plus)

5+ years of commercial construction experience at a General Contractor

Prior experience with 100+ unit ground-up multifamily/mixed-use projects and DSA/K-12 projects (including podium, garden walk-up, and other Type I developments)

General knowledge of construction principles/processes required

Experience building relationships with owners and managing field staff

Prior experience with MS Project (or similar), Procore (or similar), and Microsoft Office Suite
