Job Description
As a fabricator, you will play a critical role in preparing materials before the welders begin their work. Your duties will include reading blueprints, accurately measuring materials, and ensuring everything is ready for the welding team. The role requires you to be on your feet and moving throughout the plant during your shift.
Responsibilities
Lay out materials for welders prior to welding.
Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
Measure and prepare materials for welding.
Maintain active movement throughout the plant as required.Essential Skills
Proficiency in flux core, MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Experience in fabrication and fitting.
Knowledge of working with stainless steel, carbon steel, and structural steel.Additional Skills & Qualifications
At least 3-6 months of previous welding experience.
Strong measuring abilities.Work Environment
You will be working in an outdoor environment that can be very hot, requiring protective gear such as steel-toe ankle-high leather boots, long sleeves, and pants. Contact lenses are not recommended due to welding smoke. The role offers two shifts: 1st shift from Monday to Friday, 6am to 3:30pm, and 2nd shift from Monday to Friday, 3:15pm to 12:45am.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ashland City, Tennessee.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.30 - $21.30/hr.
