Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct support to clients to enhance their quality of life. The BCBA will work collaboratively with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our clients.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify behavioral needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
Implement behavior intervention strategies based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles.
Collect and analyze data to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care for individuals with developmental disabilities.
Educate families and caregivers on behavior management techniques and strategies.
Ensure adherence to medical terminology standards in all documentation.
Experience
Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst is required.
Experience in patient care, particularly with individuals on the autism spectrum or those with developmental disabilities.
Proficiency in medical documentation practices and familiarity with medical records management.
Strong skills in data collection and analysis related to behavioral assessments.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
