currently searching for an experienced Plastics Mold Technician in injection molding. Must have experience changing out molds and start up production.
Experience:
Plastic Injection Molding: minimum 3 years
Essential Functions:
To assist Supervisor in startups and be able to run machines without any help.
As a mold technician, train or arrange for training of each employee assigned to the department in the safe and efficient performance of their job.
Maintain molds and tools organization and documentation.
Develop and maintain process documentation as per ISO certification quality system.
Must be able to work independently on new process development as well as troubleshooting current production issues.
Trouble shoot problems so they can inform supervisor or maintenance where problems are occurring.
Be open minded to learn Thermoset and compression molding.
Perform cavity changes on molds as needed.
Be able to satisfy all of QC requirements.
As a production operator, you must assist in maintaining maximum productivity levels.
Additional Functions:
Be able to help train operators on how to run jobs in a safe and productive way.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
Experience with plastics manufacturing, injection molding.
Must have experience in the following materials.
Diallyl Phtalate
Nylon
Thermoset
Production Operator experience
Working Conditions
Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
Ability to work in a hot and loud noise environment
