CNC Mill Machinist / Programmer - 5-AXIS

Job Description

Machine Shop in Chandler has an immediate opening for a 5-axis CNC Mill Programmer who would be responsible for producing machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating 5-axis CNC milling equipment. We are seeking someone who can keep up with our fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements & Responsibilities:

Minimum of 5 years experience setting up and operating 5-axis CNC Mill machines

Mastercam programming a plus

Experience in machining various materials including aluminum, plastics, steel and stainless steel

Reads and understand blueprints, job routings, tooling instructions, and standard charts for such specifications as dimensions, tolerances, and tooling instructions such as type of holding fixtures, cutting speeds, feed rates, and cutting tools to be used

Adapts to changes in the work environment and the ability to effectively handle multiple, simultaneous tasks

In process inspection

Be accountable and responsible for product and associated documents

Ability to follow verbal and/or written instructions

Maintains a satisfactory attendance and punctuality record

Must be able to stand majority of the shift
