Position: Receiver

Pay Rate: $18.00 /hourly

Location: Manteca, CA

Schedule: Monday - Friday 5:00am - 1:00pm

Job Description:

The Receiver is responsible for overseeing the accurate receipt of goods and materials into the warehouse. This role involves inspecting shipments, verifying quantities, and ensuring that items are stored in the appropriate locations. The Receiver plays a vital role in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting overall warehouse operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Pick up proper selecting documents prior to order selection process or select orders via RF computer.

Select and separate warehouse product by account and stop number as designated by the electronic handheld computer (RF machine)

Match product description with label description.

Build pallet within the warehouse according to customer guidelines

Maintain production standards, while minimizing errors.

Transport, via stand-up electric pallet jack and High Reach Forklift the completed orders to appropriate staging area in the warehouse.

Return completed orders to proper collection site per specific instructions

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in logistics or supply chain management is a plus

Proven experience in a receiving or warehouse role preferred

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks

Good communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment

Basic computer skills for inventory management and record-keeping
