Guest Service Team Leader /Part time / Evening and weekends availability required

United Center
Rate Field
General Responsibilities:
Provide guests with a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable environment to view events at the United Center and Rate Field through knowledge of available guest services and facility familiarization. Provide supervision, support, and motivation to an event team of 20-25 Guest Service Representatives during events.

Essential Duties:
Promote family atmosphere, guest enjoyment and safety
Motivate and coach event staff to fulfill job responsibilities
Assist the manager on duty in the resolution of guest concerns
Knowledge of all venue amenities/services provided, the venue policies/procedures including evacuation
Knowledge of company policies and procedures
Communicate event and staff activity to manager on duty
Provide company reports and documents regarding incidents when necessary
Assign company equipment or keys when needed to employee for a designated area
Assist in the administration of ongoing Guest Service department training including AYS New Hire Orientation
Actively participation in company and facility incentive and reward programs
Actively promote company values, including equality, diversity, and inclusion
Miscellaneous operational (day of event) duties as directed
Qualifications:
To perform the job successfully, the Team Leader must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Must be 20 years of age or older
Must have a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience
Must have a minimum of 2 years of direct customer service experience
Must have excellent leadership and team management skills
Must be energetic and willing to motivate event staff
Must be available to work evening and weekend hours. Report times typically start at 4:30pm on weekdays and any time on weekend days.
Must be able to stand and walk for a minimum of 5 hours
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
Must be punctual and able to comply with attendance standards
Must be willing and able to comply with all grooming and uniform standards. Extreme hair color, extreme facial piercings, and facial or offensive tattoos are not allowed
Ability to work both locations (United Center & Guaranteed Rate Field)
Additional Information:
Starting Pay Rate = $19.50 per hour
Average hours will not exceed 20 hours per week
Average work hours will not exceed 1000 hours per calendar year
The individual may be required to sit or walk up to 2/3 of the work shift
The individual may also be required to use their hands, stoop, kneel or reach with their hands up to 1/3 of the work shift
The individual may also be required to lift up to 10 pounds up to 2/3 of the work shift
