Position Overview:

The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for supervising maintenance personnel and be the primary planner/scheduler and procure parts.

What you will be doing:

Directly supervises mechanics

Prepare weekly plant maintenance schedules, review performance daily and modify plans as appropriate

Maintenance job planning/scheduling to include” Issue/Review work order documents from CMMS system / Specify appropriate tools

Provide detailed work instructions / Job review and data capture / Follow-up planning as required and work order closure

Prioritize work; maintaining a backlog

Follow up with mechanics when work is not done timely

Review PM orders - - optimize plant PM systems

Manage continuous improvement of maintenance KPI’s and reporting systems

Facilitates weekly maintenance scheduling meetings w/ plant operating team

Assist operations with special assignments

Organize and drive efforts to improve HS&E

Motivate and train hourly technicians to develop ownership skills

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required

7-10 years in a maintenance role; chemical operation preferred

High level of computer literacy. Job requires daily interface w/ CMMS (Ultimo) and plant production (SAP) software.

Experienced with CMMS (Ultimo) workflow and effective at communicating work plans

Working knowledge of industrial plant processes and equipment

Well-organized / Forward-thinker / Good communicator / Effective meeting facilitator

Working knowledge of SAP and purchasing procedures.
