CNC Mill Machinist / Programmer

Job Description

Skilled Trades Services is currently seeking an experienced CNC Mill Machinist / Programmer to join our team. This position requires proficiency in programming at the machine using G & M codes, as well as a strong ability to interpret drawings and work independently to produce high-quality parts.

Responsibilities

Program and operate CNC machines, including lathes and milling machines, to fabricate parts based on detailed specifications.

Program at the machine directly from drawings using G & M codes.

Perform quality checks using bore gauges and other measuring tools to ensure parts meet precise specifications.

Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Experience and Qualifications

Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations.

Experience operating forklifts is a plus.

In-depth knowledge of tooling, hand tools, and machining processes.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings is required.
