Job Title: Flexo Press Operator

Duration: Temp To Hire

Location: O’Fallon, MO 63366

Shift Time: Hours would be 3:30pm - midnight with training on 1st shifts 7am-3:30pm.

Summary:

We have an urgent need for a second shift flexo press operator.

Hours would be 3:30 pm-midnights with training on 1st shift 7am-3:30pm.

Responsible for the completion of assigned job(s) for the shift, on time and in full.

Essential functions, duties, & responsibilities:

Be primarily responsible for efficiently operating narrow web Flexo converting equipment up to 6 colors; this includes cleaning and maintaining the equipment.

Set up and make the press ready to include loading of paper, installation of dies, inking, mounting plates and any other adjustments necessary for complete change over.

Check jobs prior to putting on press as to position of printing, ink color, copy stock, plates, dies, print cylinders, etc. Inspect furnished raw materials for quality and accuracy.

Inspect finished stocks for quality and accuracy.

Package products in a professional manor.

Unload trucks and receive goods coming in from suppliers using forklift or pallet jack.

Qualifications:

(Indicate education/experience requirements that are job-related & consistent with business needs.)

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience.

At least one year industry experience.

Ability to learn new equipment and procedures as required

Commitment to excellence and high standards

Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm

Acute attention to detail; Safety Minded/Orientated

Preferred:

Two years’ experience running Flexographic presses.
