Location: Tomoka Correctional Institution 3950 Tiger Bay Road Daytona Beach, FL 32124

Male facility providing In-Custody Outpatient Treatment

Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

As a Clinical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing counseling staff, ensuring compliance with treatment protocols, and providing clinical guidance to support effective service delivery. This includes monitoring program effectiveness, facilitating team collaboration, and maintaining accurate documentation to align with institutional and regulatory standards. Additionally, you will have opportunities to engage in team-building activities, such as team lunches, and be recognized for your contributions, including potential recognition as Employee of the Month by the Florida Department of Corrections. Clinical Supervisors are responsible for:

Supervises Counselors and other clinical support staff delivering assessment, substance use disorder education and treatment, and case management to clients.

Carries a caseload of up to 56 clients in total with responsibilities split between two staff.

Oversees client program: evaluates counselors’ work performance, audits client records to ensure regulatory and contractual compliance and achievement of service delivery objectives.

Serves as a professional resource to other counselors in resolving complex case problems and provides clinical supervision and guidance.

Interprets and enforces the organization and facility policies and procedures, contributes to development of treatment protocols and processes.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Master’s degree in counseling, social work or psychology

Licensed to provide mental health treatment in the relevant state

Two (2) years of progressively more responsible experience; some experience in a forensic counseling setting preferred

Physical Requirements:

Ability to walk and move about the facilities for up to two hours at a time, to monitor and interact with clients

Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

Ability to record, proofread and check documents and files for accuracy, to prepare and analyze data and figures, transcribe, read

Ability to use a keyboard and video display terminal to receive, retrieve, and/or audit information and data

Ability to respond to telephones, and to hear and detect alarms and unusual noises

Compensation (based on experience and credentials):

Range begins at $73,486 annually
