Client is seeking an experienced API Developer to join our innovative and fast-paced team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining integrations that connect our internal systems and external platforms. From automating workflows to enabling seamless data exchange, your work will directly support the efficiency and scalability of our operations.
This position is ideal for a proactive, tech-savvy individual who thrives on solving integration challenges and has hands-on experience with tools like Zapier, Asana, Slack, and Tableau.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain robust and secure APIs that connect internal systems and third-party platforms.
Develop automated workflows using tools like Zapier, Asana, and Slack to streamline operations.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather integration requirements and implement scalable solutions.
Ensure accurate, real-time data flow between systems such as Tableau, CRMs, and internal databases.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to API performance, data integrity, and workflow failures.
Create and maintain detailed technical documentation including API usage, architecture diagrams, and process workflows.
Work closely with data teams to support data visualization and reporting efforts using Tableau.
Implement best practices in API security, data privacy, and integration reliability.
Perform additional tasks and cross-functional support as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in API development and systems integration.
Strong knowledge of RESTful API design, JSON, webhooks, and OAuth protocols.
Proficiency in Python, Node.js, or JavaScript for scripting and automation.
Experience integrating with SaaS platforms such as Tableau, Asana, Slack, and CRM systems.
Familiarity with no-code/low-code tools like Zapier and automation best practices.
Solid understanding of API security, rate limiting, authentication, and error handling.
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work indeClientdently in a fast-paced environment.
Clear and concise communication and documentation skills.
