Our client is an award-winning R&D organization that has been growing throughout the Midwest for over 40 years. Among those awards are “Best Places to Work- Columbus”, which they have won 5 times in the past 15 years. Due to a Sr. Accounting leader getting ready to retire, they are looking to hire an experienced Finance and Accounting Manager.

Main duties include:

Directly lead/supervisor a small team of Accounting and Financial Specialists

Use forecasting expertise to manage project-based financial initiatives

Lead all AP, AR and month-end accounting functions

Lead the development and creation of commercial and government contracts

Manage the financial budgets and KPIs

Perform all analysis of cash, revenue, month-end accounting, fixed assets, etc.

Assist with the implementation of a new ERP system

Ensure the company is adhering to all state accounting regulations

Qualifications include:

BS degree in Accounting or Finance

Strong financial leadership experience

Experience managing budgets, fixed assets, revenues

Month-end accounting expertise

KPI-driven financial leader

ERP experience strongly desiredCompany Description
