Front & Back Office Reception: Well established and busy spine and pain management practice in Oxnard has a full-time opening (Monday to Friday) for a front & back office receptionist.
Job Purpose:
Greeting & rooming patients; scheduling and confirming appointments; answering and directing phone call
Job Duties may include, but are not limited to:
• Welcome patients and visitors by greeting, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries
• Rooming patients, collecting labs, and distributing medications
• Answering multi-line phone system and fielding calls accordingly
• Preparing charts and assisting patients with paperwork
• Assisting with the flow of patients through the office
• Scheduling appointments; calling patients to remind them of upcoming appointments.
• Utilizing the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to enter patient data and appointments
• Maintaining the reception area
• Scanning, Office administration
• Collecting co-payments at the time of service
Skills and qualifications:
Applicant must have exceptional organizational skills, excellent computer skills and be ready to work in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining great attention to detail. The applicant must also be reliable and punctual, professional, have good communication skills and a willingness to learn. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
