Machinist / Tool Maker

Job Description

Our client in Turtle Creek, PA is hiring a Toolmaker/Experienced Machinist at their facility.

Job Description:

- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to understand tool requirements

- Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure accuracy and quality in tool manufacturing

- Manufacture using "Tool Steel" from beginning block stage to end product

- Set up and operate Haas machine equipment to complete manufacturing process

- Adhere to customer specifications and pay close attention to detail (.0001 tolerances)

- Inspect finished tools and dies to verify conformance to specifications

Job Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship in toolmaking or related field preferred

- Proven experience as a Toolmaker or similar role in a tool & die environment

- Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints

- Experience operating a variety of machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC machines

- Ability to use precision measuring instruments accurately
