IMMEDIATE NEED for a Temporary CNC Programmer in West Chester!
Duration: 3-4 months (through end of August); potential to convert to full-time employee.
Schedule:
Training Phase: Full-time, in-person M-F, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (approx. 1 month)
Post-Training: Part-time (avg. 20 hrs/week), flexible schedule; possible hybrid based on site needs
Job Purpose:
Create and modify CNC programming to support production operations. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for various machines and assist in process development, training, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
-Support manufacturing operations and troubleshoot CNC equipment.
-Train operators on equipment and production processes.
-Develop and refine material/process parameters to meet product specs.
-Create part drawings and support tool design for engineering.
-Review customer specifications and collaborate with operations, quality, and sales.
-Lead or contribute to Lean/Continuous Improvement initiatives.
-Develop CNC programs for machines including:
Citizen/Cincom L12 Swiss (CAV120LS bar feeder)
DMG MORI SEIKI Dura Vertical 1035
MORI SEIKI SL-303 & DURA TURN 2550
PROTO-TRAX TRL 2460SX
SODICK EDM ALN 600G
MASAK VIC-200B
Qualifications:
-BS in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or Materials Engineering (or related field)
-3-5 years manufacturing experience
-Proficient in CNC programming (MasterCam experience required)
-Familiarity with welding, fabrication, and metal forming
-Experience with Lean Manufacturing, problem-solving, and process improvement
