Position Summary:
The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for managing and growing customer accounts, processing sales orders, and delivering exceptional service. This role is ideal for someone with a background in manufacturing sales or customer support, who understands the urgency and detail required in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
Process incoming orders, quotes, and inquiries with accuracy and urgency
Work closely with the production and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
Provide product information as needed
Proactively follow up with customers on order status, delivery schedules, and service satisfaction
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities based on customer needs
Maintain accurate records in CRM or ERP systems
Handle customer complaints or issues with professionalism and problem-solving skills
Collaborate with the outside sales team to support business growth strategies
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in inside sales and/or customer service within a manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of order entry, lead times, and production schedules
Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience using CRM/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Salesforce)
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced setting
High attention to detail and strong follow-through
Team-oriented mindset with a positive, customer-first attitude
