Mainframe

Candidate should having 6 to 10 years of experience in Mainframe Development. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in COBOL, JCL, and DB2, and will be responsible for leading development efforts, mentoring team members, and ensuring the successful delivery of mainframe-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage end-to-end mainframe development projects.

Design, develop, and maintain applications using COBOL, JCL, and DB2.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and deliverables.

Required Skills:

Strong hands-on experience in COBOL, JCL, and DB2.

Proven experience in leading mainframe development teams.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience working in client-facing roles or onsite engagements.

Exposure to mainframe modernization initiatives is a plus.
