SUMMARY
As a Physician Assistant in this unique hybrid APP role, you will support patient care both onsite at our Geneva Infusion Center and virtually through our system-wide Urgent Care platform. This position is ideal for a PA who thrives in a flexible, technology-forward environment and enjoys blending hands-on clinical care with innovative virtual services. You will respond to infusion-related events in-person while also delivering low-acuity urgent care services via telehealth during clinical downtime—all within a supportive and team-based care model.

ATTRIBUTES
Current NYS licensure and national certification
Minimum 2 years of clinical experience preferred—urgent care, infusion, or emergency medicine background a plus
Comfortable with multitasking between in-person and virtual care responsibilities
Strong clinical judgment with an excellent digital bedside manner
Tech-savvy and adaptable, with experience using virtual care platforms
Collaborative, communicative, and highly responsive in team-based environments
RESPONSIBILITIES
Infusion Center Support (Onsite)
Serve as the on-site provider at the Geneva Infusion Center
Quickly respond to emergency infusion reactions and provide clinical interventions
Collaborate with infusion RNs and pharmacy teams to ensure safe and effective care
Virtual Urgent Care
Provide virtual consultations for low-acuity, same-day needs across the health system
Utilize telehealth platforms, EHR documentation, and clinical workflows to streamline virtual visits
Transition into virtual care mode during infusion center downtime
Administrative Duties
Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR
Complete appropriate billing codes and required documentation
Coordinate care and escalate to collaborating physicians or specialists as needed
EDUCATION:BS: Physician Assistant (Required)
LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: PA-C - Certified Physician Assistant - National Committee on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), RPA - Registered Physician Assistant - New York State Education Department (NYSED)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
