Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Production Operator to join their team. As a Production Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Production Operator
Location: Owatonna, MN
Shift: Monday-Thursday 4p-2:30a
Pay Range: $19/hr
What's the Job?
Operate all production and processing equipment efficiently while adhering to customer specifications and quality standards.
Document all raw materials, machine operations, and finished goods in the batch record.
Identify and adjust machine functions to optimize production and ensure product quality.
Perform product formulation and accurately operate scales for processing.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and production suites.
What's Needed?
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred but not required.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and write basic correspondence.
Basic math skills and ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds (and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance).
Previous forklift experience preferred; must pass a written test for certification.
Basic computer skills preferred.
