Position Title: Applications Developer 5

Position Description: Protingent has an exciting contract opportunity for a Applications Developer 5 with our client located in Redmond, WA. This role is 100 percent remote.

Job Description:

The main function of a Developer within our team is to work with the Product Delivery Manager of Operations to design, develop, and implement applications, automations, and enforceable controls using general languages and technologies (e.g. - C#, KQL, PowerShell) to ensure that our business meets the highest standards of security, privacy, and reliability compliance.

Job Responsibilities:

Purpose of the Team: The purpose of this team is to focus on incident management, reporting, and automation work, particularly with a security focus.

Key projects: This role will contribute to being a developer with an operational focus to include security incident response and site reliability.

Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of 30% meetings (with customer, other teams, etc.), 70% head down focus time.

Job Qualifications:

Must Have 10+ yearsâ experience with PowerShell.

Must Have 10+ yearsâ experience with C#.

Must Have 10+ yearsâ experience with Data Handling - experience with SQL or other open-source databases.

10+ overall years of experience in the field.

Bachelorâ s and more is preferred or 10+ years of relevant work experience

The sponsor's ideal candidate would be someone with SRE experience. Specifically doing development work - then becoming a manager that felt better being an individual contributor. Reason being, they'd have the understanding of running a team, running a program but would still have the developer skills that most don't have about operations. Bonus if they have on call experience, operational and security mindset and experience, and experience handling sensitive data.

5+ years' experience with highly complex projects that involve data-driven analysis

Development experience in C#, PowerShell, KQL

Hands on experience using Azure DevOps

Hands on experience in designing, developing and successful deployment of large-scale projects from end-to-end

Hands on experience in following the iterative and agile SDLC

Job Details:

Job Type: Contract

Location: 100% Remote.

Pay Range: $75/hr. to $99/hr.
