Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Lead a High-Performance Sales Organization – Build, mentor, inspire and lead a dynamic sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, efficiency, and excellence.

Optimize Sales Processes for Scalable Growth – Implement and refine sales strategies, pipeline management, and business development efforts to maximize conversions and revenue.

Expand Market Reach – Identify and seize new opportunities, in collaboration with the Marketing and the Business Development Teams, across existing and emerging industries, leveraging Sloan’s innovative solutions to drive customer adoption.

Align Sales with Innovation & Customer Needs – Work closely with marketing and engineering teams to ensure our sales efforts highlight Sloan’s industry-leading advancements and unique value propositions.

Invest in People & Processes – Lead the adoption of new technologies, data-driven sales methodologies, and operational efficiencies to empower the team and accelerate success.

Achieve & Exceed Growth Targets – Drive performance through clear KPIs, analytics, and sales forecasting, ensuring alignment with Sloan’s ambitious growth plans.

Qualifications

A proven sales leader with a history of success in industrial, manufacturing, or lubrication systems industries.

Deep expertise in scaling sales teams, refining processes, and driving measurable results in B2B markets.

A strategic thinker and hands-on leader who thrives in high-growth environments.

Strong experience in business development, key account management, and complex sales cycles.

A data-driven mindset with the ability to use analytics to improve sales performance.

Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Ready and willing to lead by example through driving growth directly with key and national accounts. Requirements:

Minimum requirement: marketing, business, or other relevant college degree.

At least 10 years of experience in national/international, business to business and/or industrial sales, with 4 years in a leadership position.

Experience with a range of sales methodologies, developing and leading metric-driven teams, sales funnel management, and channel management.

Experience in deploying and using marketing and sales software applications (Customer Relationship Management) as well as implementing and integrating an ERP system into the sales process.

Financial acumen with a complete understanding of income statements and profit/discount calculations.

Willing to travel up to 40%, travel may fall over weekends with occasional international travel.
