We are seeking a Software Engineer – Embedded/Test Equipment to support the Glide Phase Interceptor (GPI) Program in Chandler, AZ. This position involves hands-on software development, hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and computer-in-the-loop (CIL) test system support for advanced missile defense systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop test equipment software/hardware architectures to support real-time hardware-in-the-loop test environments.
Implement GPU-based software to simulate flight conditions in a real-time lab environment.
Support integration and startup of real-time computer systems for test labs.
Ensure adherence to software standards and participate in multi-disciplinary collaboration.
Develop distorted scene injection methods for real-time simulation into flight hardware.
Basic Qualifications:
BS in Computer Science, Computer Systems, or related field with 6+ years of experience, OR MS with 4+ years.
Proficient in C, C++, C#, and/or Java in Linux and/or Windows environments.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Active DoD Secret Clearance with existing DD254 on the GPI program.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with real-time hardware/software test environments (CIL/HIL).
Familiarity with 6DoF simulation and integration in real-time test environments.
Experience with IR scene injection and embedded flight systems.
GPU development for real-time scene generation.
Agile development experience and strong team collaboration skills.
