The Salesforce Architect is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing scalable and secure Salesforce solutions that meet the evolving needs of the organization. This role serves as the technical leader and subject matter expert for all Salesforce architecture decisions, including platform integration, customization, and strategic alignment with business goals. The Salesforce Architect collaborates closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to ensure the Salesforce ecosystem supports growth, performance optimization, and innovation across sales, marketing, service, and operational functions.
Primary Responsibilities
Design and document scalable, robust Salesforce architecture solutions that align with business strategy and technical standards.
• Lead the technical design and review of Salesforce enhancements, integrations, and custom development.
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications in collaboration with business analysts and IT stakeholders.
• Define best practices for Salesforce development, configuration, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Guide the technical implementation of Salesforce platform upgrades, new features, and security patches.
• Provide mentorship and architectural guidance to Salesforce administrators and developers.
• Manage the integration of Salesforce with external systems, including ERP, marketing, support, and finance platforms.
• Support data migration, system conversions, and cleansing initiatives to maintain data quality and integrity.
• Evaluate and select third-party applications and AppExchange solutions based on business needs and architecture compatibility.
• Ensure Salesforce solutions are compliant with corporate data governance, security policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure technical deliverables are completed on schedule and within scope.
• Lead platform health checks, code reviews, and performance tuning efforts to maintain system stability and scalability.
• Demonstrate a commitment to safety by complying with all company safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Report any unsafe conditions, hazards, incidents, or near-miss events promptly. Participate in safety training and awareness programs to enhance knowledge and promote a safety-conscious workplace. Engage in proactive safety communication and initiatives to continuously improve our safety culture. Support and adhere to safety measures, including the use of personal protective equipment and safe work practices.
Experience & Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field required.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator in Salesforce solution design and development, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect credential required; Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) preferred.
• Deep experience working in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Platform integrations.
• Proven success delivering complex Salesforce solutions in a multi-business-unit or global environment.
