Job Title: HAAS Vertical Mill Machine Operator 1

Location: Wheeling, Illinois

Employment Type: Full-Time / Non-Exempt

Shift: 6:00am to 4:30pm, 4 days a week, Mon-Thurs

Pay Range: $20 to $25 per hour

About the Role:

Produce components efficiently and accurately by operating and maintaining HAAS Vertical Mill / related equipment and similar ancillary machines.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for production and operation of multiple HAAS milling machines in team-based environment

Responsible for general/daily maintenance on machines to keep up with production.

Responsible for ensuring quality of parts through regular inspection during production.

Follow all safety guidelines as stated by the company.

Read and understand blueprints and basic geometric dimension tolerancing (will train)

Inspect parts through use of visual and manual inspection equipment (caliper, micrometer etc.), as well as programmed CMM equipment (will train).

Make offsets & change tooling per provided layout (will train).

Communicate with fellow team members, management, and other stakeholder of job status and party quality.

Requirements / Skills:

Cooperative, team-focused attitude

Must have excellent hand-eye coordination and good manual dexterity in both hands

Ability to lift 25 pounds regularly

Ability to stand/walk throughout the day for the entire shift.

Ability to read English and follow standard operating procedure instructions

Communicate / train others when needed

Ability to inspect parts through use of visual and manual inspection equipment (caliper, micrometer etc.) as well as programmed CMM equipment (will train).

Complete Operation Basics Training.

Previous HAAS Milling experience preferred.
