Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Sales Representative with a strong background in roofing or exterior building materials to drive growth in the Atlanta market. The ideal candidate will bring deep product knowledge, strong customer relationships, and a proven ability to win new business while maintaining and growing existing accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain relationships with roofing contractors, builders, and remodelers
Manage an existing book of business while actively identifying and pursuing new accounts
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery, accurate orders, and excellent customer service
Provide accurate product knowledge and solutions to customers' needs
Track sales performance, forecasts, and market trends
Represent the company at industry events, job sites, and trade shows
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market pricing, competitor activity, and new product offerings
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in sales within the roofing or building materials industry (distribution experience preferred)
Proven ability to develop new business and exceed sales targets
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Knowledge of the Atlanta market and customer base
Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
