We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Enterprise Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in information technology, with specific expertise in cloud architecture for multi-tier cloud or hybrid applications, virtualized infrastructure, and enterprise cloud architecture. This role will support business planning and strategy by focusing on business capabilities and maturity, understanding services and core missions, and matching them with best-in-class technology to define a north-star target state. The candidate will also help define the prioritization and sequencing of the transformation by proposing a strategic roadmap that leads to the target state. The candidate must possess CISSP, ITIL, and Cloud FinOps certifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Architecture: Design and implement cloud architecture for multi-tier cloud or hybrid applications, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.

Virtualized Infrastructure: Oversee the development and management of virtualized infrastructure to support enterprise operations.

Enterprise Cloud Architecture: Develop and maintain enterprise cloud architecture to support business objectives and enhance operational efficiency.

Business Planning and Strategy: Support business planning and strategy by focusing on business capabilities and maturity, aligning IT initiatives with business goals.

Technology Alignment: Understand services and core missions and match them with best-in-class technology to define a north-star target state.

Strategic Roadmap: Help define the prioritization and sequencing of the transformation by proposing a strategic roadmap that leads to the target state.

Operational Processes: Design, implement, and manage operational processes and procedures to ensure the reliable delivery of IT services.

Compliance and Security: Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and security protocols. Implement best practices for cybersecurity and disaster recovery.

Continuous Improvement: Contribute insights to drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization, ensuring reliable and secure delivery of services.

Required Qualifications:

Certifications: Must possess CISSP, ITIL, and Cloud FinOps certifications.

Experience: Extensive experience in information technology, including specific experience with cloud architecture for multi-tier cloud or hybrid applications, virtualized infrastructure, and enterprise cloud architecture.

Technical Skills: Strong technical skills in cloud architecture, virtualized infrastructure, and enterprise cloud architecture.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Leadership: Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience working in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in business planning and strategy.

Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in cloud computing and IT infrastructure.

Familiarity with IT governance and compliance standards.

Candidates must have strong technical abilities, excellent oral and written communication skills, and a teamwork emphasis.

The candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a national agency check and background investigation after hire to obtain a badge for facility access and user accounts.
