We are searching for a top-notch experienced Admin for one of our amazing clients! The right candidate will be very detail-oriented, pays very close attention to detail, organized, and great multi-tasker.
The person must have the administrative experience from a construction based company and must be very familiar with the duties listed below.
JOB STATEMENT:
Support the analysis and development of the construction financial information required to successfully support the companyâ s endeavors.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Organize and review time-sheets, subcontractor invoices, and vendor reimbursements, calculate and prepare client billings
Compile weekly subcontractor payments by job for VP of Estimatingâ s review and approval
Monitor job progress versus budget and track potential change orders and overruns
Prepare project status reports to be distributed to management
Assist with tracking purchase orders, work orders and contract change orders
Work with project managers to ensure proper compliance with accounting procedures including reviewing and analyzing job cost estimates and reports monthly
Assist with monthly project reconciliation to ensure all revenue and cost for each project is properly booked in the proper accounting period
Analysis of profit and loss reporting
Manage project revenues, manage and report project costs by projects
Develop Excel models to allocate shared project costs
Vendor maintenance, lien waiver tracking, and vendor statement reconciliation
Budget preparation and review with VP of Estimating
Work with VP of Estimating and Project Managers to ensure project budgets are accurate and current
Requisition preparation as needed
Initiate and monitor job close-out process by issuing and collecting final lien waivers
Review Change Orders
Other duties as needed
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics is preferred
Minimum of 3 yearsâ experience in a construction environment
Accounting/GAAP knowledge
Advanced knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, vlookups)
Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects
Excellent communication skills
Ability to complete projects timely and accurately
Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment
