The Security Infrastructure Specialist position leads the execution of our access management and security infrastructure strategy. You will be pivotal in ensuring the security and integrity of our facilities, workers and information. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust access management protocols and security infrastructure in alignment with the overarching security strategy. You will report to the Sr. Manager, Security Operations.
In this primarily office-based role, you will be expected to spend at least 80% of your time (4+ days per week) working from Madison, WI 53783
Primary Accountabilities
You will oversee and optimize facility access procedure, leveraging advanced security infrastructure technology, coordinating with contingent staff, and engaging stakeholders to ensure comprehensive and secure access management.
You will lead the collection, analysis, and documentation of security infrastructure data and reports, including camera footage, card reader data, and alarm notification details, to ensure comprehensive security monitoring and incident response.
You will drive research, design, and initial implementation of security department strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and the adoption of cutting-edge security practices.
You will spearhead the development of the enterprise security system network program and the creation of associated processes and procedures, ensuring robust and scalable security solutions.
You will lead efforts to collaborate with security department and business unit stakeholders and leaders to launch new technology-related processes and integrate them into daily operations.
You may be required to complete other assignments or participate in projects based upon skills, achievements, or experience.
Specialized Knowledge, Skills, and Education Requirements
Networking basics Certification (A+, Network + and/or Security +)
Access Management Experience (user or administrator): C-Cure 9000 or equivalent
Closed Circuit Television (CCTV): ExacqVision or equivalent
Advanced Microsoft Windows Server experience
Physical Security Infrastructure Strategy/best practices experience
Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support, or service.
In-depth conceptual and practical knowledge of various access control systems used to manage and monitor facility access.
Proficiency in formulating and implementing integration and migration strategies, employing cutting-edge technologies to achieve smooth transitions and system compatibility.
Demonstrated experience working with vendors in resolving issues and developing solutions to complex and difficult problems independently.
Demonstrated experience communicating sensitive and technical information.
Advanced knowledge of the latest security trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements to continually strengthen the organization's security posture.
Demonstrated experience providing training and guidance on the proper use of access control systems and report any security concerns or incidents to management.
Demonstrated experience using audit techniques and methodologies.
