Position Overview:
Oversee and control comprehensive IT Systems and programs in alignment with the strategic goals of the agency to monitor, provide corrective measures for errors and produce strategies for new requirements.
Required Skills:
5 years of experience working with GoAnywhere Managed File Transfers (MFT).
5 years of experience in GoAnywhere development.
5 years of experience in batch management.
5 years of experience with Configuration Management Database (CMDB).Preferred Skills:
3 years of experience with ITIL v4 Foundations.
Duties:
Serve as the highest-level technical expert in enterprise operations systems.
Coordinate with IT teams (specialists, analysts, administrators, developers) to support a large IT enterprise serving 10,000+ social services staff.
Develop and maintain secure managed file transfer jobs in line with business, security, and operational requirements.
Apply knowledge of secure transfer protocols, LINUX permissions, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Support Cloud, SaaS, and Low-Code application platforms, including development within the GoAnywhere product.
Provide support for batch job scheduling and execution using BMS Control-M.
Monitor IT infrastructure using advanced software tools and ITIL best practices to detect, alert, and resolve issues related to servers, networks, and applications.
Deliver expert service desk support by researching failures, providing resolution steps, and implementing preventive measures.
Design, develop, test, and maintain file communication processes with internal and external trading partners.
Maintain and manage operational documentation, including Operations Documents and Runbooks/Playbooks.
Prepare system documentation and configure file transfer solutions according to SDLC standards.
Clarify enhancement and system change requests with Application Development, Security Operations (SECOPS), and business/system analysts.
Analyze user requirements and requests to develop effective automated IT solutions.
Maintain and update production transfer solutions, system configurations, and technical documentation.
Follow established coding and documentation standards through a structured review process.
Perform additional operational support tasks as assigned.
