Scope of Position
The Ohio State University International Training Center for Radiation Oncology provides hands on radiation therapy training, including treatment techniques, linear accelerator commissioning, immobilization techniques, and use of other equipment related to patient treatment. This position will manage the administrative needs and program coordination for the center, as well as other educational areas of the department such as symposium planning. The program coordinator will serve as a primary point of contact for the Department of Radiation Oncology Training Center.
Position Summary
The program coordinator will recommend strategies for streamlining and optimizing the efficiency of internal systems for projects and programs of the department and must have demonstrated experience in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Power Point and Access. The program coordinator will work closely with Department leadership on the development of class listings, fliers, posters, electronic and social media outreach, and all other training center initiatives. The program coordinator is responsible for the scheduling of faculty and staff as instructors for classes. The program coordinator is responsible for implementing, coordinating, and evaluating the training center’s programs.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 2 years of relevant experience required. 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.
