Schedule: 2nd shift M-F
Pay: Based on ExperienceMaintenance Technician – 2nd Shift
Position Summary:
The Maintenance Technician will focus on the mechanical upkeep, repair, and optimization of production equipment. This role is crucial in reducing mechanical downtime and ensuring equipment reliability during second shift operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems such as conveyors, gearboxes, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical faults in equipment.
Perform alignments, bearing replacements, and rebuilds as needed.
Support equipment relocations and mechanical installations.
Collaborate with production team to reduce unplanned downtime.
Maintain accurate CMMS records and follow safety procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial or mechanical maintenance
Ability to perform mechanical repairs on gearboxes, conveyors, hydraulics, and pneumatics
Comfortable using hand and power tools, reading mechanical drawings
Operated ForkliftPreferred Certifications (Not Mandatory):
Technical diploma or coursework in industrial maintenance or mechanical systems
OSHA 10 or 30 certification
Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) training or equivalent
