As an Inventory Clerk, you’ll play an essential role in supporting warehouse and production operations by maintaining accurate inventory, organizing materials, and ensuring timely delivery of parts to the shop floor. High school diploma or equivalent required
1–2 years of experience in inventory, warehouse, or manufacturing environments preferred
Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems (e.g., NetSuite, Fishbowl, etc.)
Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in a warehouse/shop setting
Dependable, team-oriented attitude with solid communication skillsKey Responsibilities:
Receive and inspect incoming shipments of sheet metal, electrical components, and hardware
Accurately stock and label materials in designated storage areas for easy retrieval
Issue materials to production based on work orders and prepare kits for timely delivery
Perform routine inventory cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies
Maintain up-to-date inventory records within ERP or inventory software
Identify and report damaged goods, stock variances, or supply shortages to leadership
Follow all safety procedures for material handling and storage
Support internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives
Take on additional duties as assigned to support production and warehouse needsKey Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Accuracy of inventory records and cycle counts
On-time delivery of materials to production
Efficiency in receiving and stocking materials
Timeliness in identifying and resolving discrepancies
