Nasson Health Care is a Federally Qualified Health Center with clinical sites in Springvale and Biddeford, Maine. We serve York County and neighboring communities through provision of fully integrated medical, dental and behavioral health care.

Clinical Manager

Exempt; Full Time

The Clinical Manager plays a vital role in leading a team of healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive primary care through the Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) model. This position is responsible for supervising the medical assistant team, contributing to the formulation of clinical policies and protocols, and overseeing quality improvement initiatives to ensure clinical and health center compliance to federal and state regulations.

The Clinical Team Lead:

Collaborate with Chief Medical Officer and Clinical Team Lead to ensure delivery of integrated primary care services

Supervise and support the medical assistant team, ensuring seamless operations and high-quality patient care. Provide orientation, ongoing support, and training opportunities to enhance the professional development of medical assistant staff.

Assist in the triage process for providing timely clinical advice under the supervision of clinical team.

Assist the medical assistant team with clinical concerns, prior authorization requests, ordering of home health related services.

Understand the clinical workflows of the medical assistant team and assist when needed to ensure patient care needs are met.

Ensure compliance within clinical areas, addressing any discrepancies as needed.

Develop and manage the weekly staff schedule to ensure adequate coverage and operational efficiency.

Oversee payroll processes for the medical assistant team, ensuring accurate and timely compensation.

Qualifications:

Current LPN or RN license.

Minimum of three years’ managerial or supervisory experience in a primary care medical practice.

Familiarity with the Patient-Centered Medical Home model and integrated healthcare delivery systems. Knowledge or familiarity with FQHCs helpful.

Demonstrates proficiency in using the electronic medical record and practice management systems.

Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication abilities.
