Summary:

The Financial Analyst 3 will utilize various financial analysis techniques to perform FP&A tasks around Corporate Treasury function of the Bank working closely with the Segment CFO, Treasury Leaders, and other key stakeholders

Duties & Responsibilities:

Produce Corporate Treasury forecast that includes margin, non-interest income and direct expense

Prepare ongoing ad hoc analysis pertaining to strategies around Corporate Treasury forecasting/planning initiatives.

Build out financial and management reporting capabilities related to Corporate Treasury financial and risk metric results

Key participant in the Corporate Treasury activities related to the capital planning process.

Produce and analyze balance sheet, income statements, and capital-based ratios during capital planning process.

Work closely with a variety of key stakeholders throughout the organization to aggregate variance results and prepare a management summary of the outcomes.

Produce materials for various governance committees.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting

3 or more years of experience as a financial analyst that includes forecasting and analytical responsibilities and/or corporate treasury experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree preference: Finance, Accounting, or Economics.

Strong technical skills using Microsoft Excel, Oracle (Essbase), PowerPoint and BI tools (Tableau) along with an understanding of financial analysis techniques.

Detail oriented with focused attention on accuracy.

Self-motivated and results-oriented with the ability to function effectively within deadlines and possess the ability to work in a team environment as well as cross organization.

Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, and demonstrates confidence and competence in group meeting situations.

Capable of remaining flexible and poised with changes in priorities.

Takes initiative for continuous improvement by looking for ways to be more effective; pursues training to enhance abilities and seeks advice on how to improve existing processes.

Experience with capital-based calculations/methodologies.
