Summary
The Technical Administrator manages customer service communication and systems, serves as the site purchaser and shipping and receiving, creates and revises technical plans, organizes substantiation packages, organizes computer files, creates outside process planning instructions (OPPI).
Essential Duties
Supports Engineers with creation and organization of all technical documentation.
Submits (including status tracking and reporting) technical documents to customers for review and approval.
Works with engineers to generate OPPI and maintain outside process quotations.
Coordinates new customer and vendor set-up activities with customers, vendors and accounting.
Manages customer due dates for production and prioritizes schedule to ensure on time delivery.
Maintains Kanban production board.
Sources material, equipment, and parts from known vendors and finds alternative vendors.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience, Other Skills
High school or general education degree (GED), with five years related experience.
Mathematical Skills - Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts and statistics to such tasks as statistical process control, design of experiment, and various analysis methodologies.
Data entry skills.
Must be a U.S. Person due to ITAR and EAR requirement.
